Upgrading from Banner® 8 to Banner® 9

The transformation of Banner® 9 administrative modules is complete. With a focus on usability, accessibility, and cloud readiness, Banner 9 offers the functionality and flexibility you need to meet the institutional and technological challenges of the future. As part of the evolution of the product, and as Oracle Forms 11gR2 transition into Oracle's Sustaining Support stage at the end of 2018, Banner 8 administrative modules will enter into Ellucian's own Sustaining Support stage on January 1, 2019. On that date, solution development, patches, and fixes for Banner 8 will cease. Ellucian recommends that all Banner customers who have not already done so migrate to Banner 9 prior to December 31st, 2018.
